Getting to Moorings Beach Private Park is difficult because the main entrance and parking lot for this beach – that are located near 2121 Gulf Shore Boulevard North – are only reserved for members of The Moorings Property Owners Association.
As an alternate access option, there is a nearby public beach entrance at 1977 Gulf Shore Boulevard North that leads to an unnamed beach area – once you reach this beach entrance, you need to walk approximately 250 meters north along the shoreline to reach Moorings Beach Private Park.
As another alternate access option, you can also visit this beach by walking north along the shoreline through another separate nearby beach namedLowdermilk Beach– this beach is located at 1301 Gulf Shore Boulevard North and it also has a paid parking lot. Once you have reached Lowdermilk Beach, you need to walk around a kilometer north along the shoreline to reach Moorings Beach Private Park.
