Overview
Located on the southern end of the Everglades National Park on the shores of Florida Bay, Clubhouse Beach is a mile-long beach with beige sand and a nearby swamp area. There is also a dense patch of coastal flora near the beach with many kinds of plants, including sea grapes, sea oats, marsh grasses, moss-draped cypress trees, palm trees, mangrove trees, and nearby pine trees.
Amenities
Clubhouse beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so plan your trip accordingly. Dogs are not allowed here, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset. Clubhouse Beach is ideal for camping, hiking, and watching wildlife. Depending on the time of year, visitors can spot many kinds of animals on the beach and in the water near it including seagulls, dolphins, sharks, manatees, and stingrays.

There are many attractions near Clubhouse Beach. Flamingo Campground is an ideal camping spot that offers many amenities including eco-tents, picnic tables, fire pits, showers, restrooms, and parking areas. Everglades Alligator Farm is a wildlife park that hosts many activities including encounters with alligators, snakes, caimans, and crocodiles. In addition, it also offers exciting airboat tours, as well as interactive alligator-feeding sessions. If you are looking for another attraction near Clubhouse Beach, Coral Castle is a museum that features an outdoor garden with sculptures carved from over 1,100 tons of coral rock. These sculptures are secretly hand-carved by only one man (Edward Leedskalnin) with an unknown process - visitors from all over the world come to explore this museum.
Parking
Getting to Clubhouse Beach is very difficult - the only access to the beach is from Flamingo Campgrounds located at the southernmost tip of the mainland Florida peninsula within Everglades National Park from Florida State Highway 9336. The Flamingo Campgrounds has a paid parking lot located at Flamingo Lodge Highway - you have to pay $30 dollars per vehicle to park here. Once you park here, you have to take the eight-mile-long Coastal Prairie Trail that runs west from the campground to reach the beach. It is important to note that only hikers can access the beach.
