Greenwich Point Park, also known as Tod's Point, is a 147-acre beach and recreation facility in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. It was once the estate of J. Kennedy Tod and features historic buildings like the Innis Arden Cottage and Seaside Garden. The park offers a variety of amenities including concessions, restrooms, picnic areas, and walking trails. The park is an Important Bird Area, attracting numerous bird species throughout the year.
The park's scenic trails include a 2.25-mile paved loop and a 2.35-mile beach loop, offering opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling. On Sundays from November to April, the roads are closed to vehicular traffic, allowing for a peaceful experience.
Historically, the park was purchased by the Town of Greenwich in 1945 and has since been developed into a popular recreational spot while maintaining its natural beauty.
