There are many fun activities at Stump Beach Cove including fishing, scuba diving, mountain biking, camping, and horseback riding. If you are looking for additional activities, Stump Beach Trail is a one-and-a-half-mile-long hiking trail on the south side of the beach and leads to Kruse Rhododendron State Natural Reserve. 

Getting to Stump Beach Cove is very easy – the beach is situated at 25050 Coast Highway and there is a paid parking lot nearby. Visitors can climb down a steep trail from the lot to the beach.

Schulz, creator of the Peanuts comic strip, and is home to a three-and-a-half-ton sculpture depicting the evolution of Snoopy – a character in the comic, Schulz’s studio, and three rotating galleries. Another great attraction near Stump Beach Cove is Scandia Family Fun Center, an amusement park with many rides including a pirate ship swing, train ride, merry-go-round swings, horse carousel, go-karts, and bumper cars.
