The beach in Sierra Park is situated within the Big Bass Cove = also known as Bass Cove – along the shores of a lake called Canyon Lake. The beach in Sierra Park has light brown sand. Sierra Park is open from 8 am to 10 pm between May 1 and September 30. Between October 1 and April 30 this park is open from 8 am to 8 pm.

Another great attraction near Sierra Park is Bear Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course that is spread across 6,800 yards and has hosted many prestigious events including the 2014 Amateur Hilton Head and Hilton Head Open.

Canyon Lake is easily accessible from Interstate Highway 15 and Interstate Highway 215. However, getting to Sierra Park can be difficult as Canyon Lake’s local property owner’s association currently only allows local residents and their guests within the community’s premises. In addition, it is important to note that the use of motorcycles is prohibited within the premises of the residential community of Canyon Lake.
