Rock Point Beach(Sonoma Coast State Park)

Located south of Duncan’s Landing in Sonoma County, Rock Point Beach is a small beach below steep bluffs and is a part of a state park known as Sonoma Coast State Park. Rock Point Beach has light brown sand and offers rocky point, beach access.

Rock Point Beach does not have any lifeguards or any other amenities, so it is advisable to prepare accordingly.

Rock Point Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, tide-pooling, and fishing. However, we recommend being careful while going down the access trail to the beach as it is steep. In addition, we recommend visiting the beach at low tide as during high tide the beach can be inaccessible.
