Sa Figuera Borda

Located near the village of Sant Josep de sa Talaia on the southwestern coast of Ibiza, Sa Figuera Borda is a 75-meter-long and 10-meter-wide rocky and gravel beach.  The beach is positioned near the famous Cala Comte and below a headland along the coast of San Antonio.  The beach has a beautiful background of a rocky cape with a huge hole in the middle of the rock and a few fishermen’s huts.  There are two small islands, S’Espartar Illa des Bosc and Sa Conillera, located just off the coast that provide Instagram-worthy views of the vast ocean.

Sa Figuera Borda does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so plan your trip accordingly.

Sa Figuera Borda offers several fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, snorkeling, and hiking.  Swimming is allowed here, but the water is known to have rocky bottoms, so we recommend being careful.  If you enjoy snorkeling, the beach offers amazing opportunities to explore the underwater world.  Hikers can enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer unique insights into the local biodiversity.  It is an ideal spot for visitors looking for a serene experience, as this beach sees fewer visitors than other nearby beaches.   Dogs are not allowed on the beach, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

Sa Figuera Borda does not offer an access path for people with disabilities.

Getting to Sa Figuera Borda is difficult - it has a few street parking spots located on an unnamed road that is just left at the end of Carretera de Comte, which provides access to the beach.  It is important to note that visitors have to hike for a few minutes and then step down a few stairs to access this beach.
