Located on the western coast of Ibiza, Es Calonet is a 40-meter-long and 10-meter-wide small cove with white sand and a few rocky portions.  The cove is positioned adjacent to the famous Cala Tarida on the coast of Alicante and has a beautiful background of small pine-covered hills with several fishermen huts. 

Es Calonet does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so plan your trip accordingly. 

Es Calonet offers several fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, picnicking, and hiking.  If you are planning to go into the water, it is a naturally sheltered bay, making it a safe swimming area.  Es Calonet offers amazing opportunities for snorkelers to explore the vibrant underwater world.  Hikers can enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer unique insights into the local biodiversity.  It is ideal for visitors looking for a serene experience, as this beach sees fewer visitors than other nearby beaches.  Dogs are not allowed on the beach, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

There are many attractions near Es Calonet.  IBIZA KARTING San Antoniooffers an interesting go-karting experience to kids from four years old to adults with novice to advanced skills in driving.  In addition, it offers many other amenities, including a kid’s game zone with a trampoline, wifi, a pool, and a snack bar. Museu Puget is a small museum that showcases the artistic works, including oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, and photographs, of the Puget family, who were prominent artists and painters on the island of Ibiza.  In addition to the permanent collection, the museum also hosts many temporary exhibits that display local art and culture.  Torre des Carregador, also known as Torre de Sa Sal Rossa, is a 13-meter-high watchtower positioned on the southwestern coast of Ibiza.  It was built during the 15th century to watch over the landings where ships were loaded with valuable salt at Ses Salines.  Visitors can explore this historical site and enjoy the panoramic view of the vast Mediterranean Sea.  Es Vedra is a 413-meter-tall, rocky island located off the southwestern coast of Ibiza.  Visitors can book a day tour to explore this small, uninhabited limestone islet, which offers incredible views during sunsets.  If you are looking for another attraction near Es Calonet, Plaça del Parc is a city square that offers a variety of restaurants, nightclubs, art galleries, boutiques, and shops where visitors can shop and enjoy authentic Balearic food.
