Playa De Los Lances Norte is a 4.8 kilometer-long white sand beach, which forms part of the longer stretch of Playa De Los Lances Norte. This northern area of de Los Lances is less developed. Visitors of Playa De Los Lances Norte often prefer a more tranquil and relaxing beach experience, without the amenities and activities that its sister beach offers. However, both beaches offer the same crystal clear water, panoramic views of the Tarifa mountains, and vantage point to watch the African coastline.
With strong winds throughout the year, Playa De Los Lances Norte is yet another Spanish destination for kite-surfing and other wind-based recreational activities. During summer, beachgoers can watch novice kite flyers fly over 1000 kites while taking lessons from kite-surfing champions. The beach also has surfing clubs nearby to rent a board, or get lessons before heading out to the open waters.
