Located 5 kilometers north of Vejer de la Frontera, Playa de El Palmar is a hidden gem known for its laid back vibes and untouched landscape. With golden soft sand, dramatic dunes, and carefully preserved vegetation, it’s a sight to behold. Beachgoers take in the beach’s stunning surroundings by walking along the beautiful wooden walkways that lead to the beach.
Playa de El Palmar is flat and exposed, which makes it vulnerable to debris from trees, sand dunes, and cliffs. It’s not the best place to relax on a windy day. However, the beach’s wind makes it perfect for surfing and wind-driven watersports. At local surf shop Kotadulu, rent surfboards and try to catch waves. El Palmar’s lack of urban development has made it a quaint and eclectic beach town.
