Playa De Los Bateles(Los Bateles Beach)

Located in the port city of Cadiz, Playa de los Bateles is a very long, wide, crowded, and beige colored beach – which is also known as Playa de los Bateles Beach – that is among the most popular beaches in Cadiz.  Playa de los Bateles is situated in front of the Bay of Cadiz on the south side of the landmark castle Torre De Guzman.  Playa de los Bateles has been awarded the Blue Flag due to its cleanliness and is located between two breakwaters which gives it a shell-like shape and protects it from east winds.  The beach runs along a promenade featuring palm trees, souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés.
