Located in the city of Barcelona, El Bogatell Beach is a long, wide, and beige colored beach that is among the most popular beaches in Barcelona.  Also known as Playa del Bogatell, El Bogatell Beach is situated in the neighborhood of La Barceloneta that hosted the 1992 Olympics Games which led to a radical transformation and growth in the tourism of this neighborhood and its beaches.  El Bogatell Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness and has mid-sized waves as it is located between two breakwaters.  El Bogatell Beach is backed by a promenade that has many restaurants, cafés, and bars – you can also walk, jog, or ride a bike here.
