Located on the northern side of Anacapa Island, Anacapa Island - Frenchy’s Cove - also known as Frenchys Cove - is a narrow beach with both sandy and rocky parts. This beach is situated at the base of oceanfront mountains. This beach is also a part of a national park named Channel Islands National Park. The original name given to the beach by the Native American Chumash people was pasnene luqtikay which roughly means "the doorway to West Anacapa Islands."

Ormond Beach is situated in front of a closed old smelter and a power generation plant between the city of Port Hueneme and the Naval Base County at Point Mugu. Ormond Beach is a popular destination for birdwatching and beachcombing.

Channel View Park Beach is situated on the north and south side of the entrance to Channel Islands Harbor and Hollywood Beach respectively. Channel View Park Beach is a great and very safe swimming spot as there is a breakwater in front of the harbor entrance that protects it from the big ocean waves. Channel View Park Beach welcomes dogs on-leash before 9 am and after 5 pm.
