Located in the city of Oceanside, Breakwater Way Beach is a small and wide beach that is surrounded by palm trees. Breakwater Way Beach is situated on the north and south side of the Oceanside Pier and the San Luis Rey River respectively.

The beach is large and has light brown sand, and offers many amenities including lifeguards, picnic areas, barbecues, showers, restrooms, and vending machines. Oceanside Pier View South Beach is easily accessible - it’s located near 200 The Strand North. There is a paid parking lot for the beach located near the intersection of South Pacific Street and Seagaze Drive, and another paid parking lot located north of the Oceanside Pier adjacent to the beach. However, we recommend visiting early as these spots often fill up quickly.
Located in the city of Oceanside, St. Malo Beach is a small, wide, and rocky beach situated in front of the private gated community called St. Malo Beach that has incredible homes with ancient French-styled architecture. St. Malo Beach’s gated entrance is situated at the intersection between Eaton Street and South Pacific Street – and is not accessible to the public. To access St. Malo Beach, you will need to walk 10 minutes south of South Oceanside Beach during low tides.
