Hakotsukuri Beach Resort is an artificial beach with azure-colored ocean water and white, sandy beach. On sunny days, one can see the Awaji Island and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the beach. The beach has a barbecue spot, a beach volleyball court, a sea house and shower facilities. At the beginning of August, the beach hosts the Osaka Marine Festival and the All-Japan Beach Volleyball Junior Men's Championship.
