If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near Marina di Mulo.  El Merendero Snack Bar offers a variety of amazing snacks including sandwiches, salads, and pizza, along with a variety of desserts and beverages.  Gennaro Amitrano is an upscale restaurant that offers amazing sea views and it is known for offering delicious seafood – in addition, it has also been praised by the MICHELIN guide.  Capri Rooftop is another upscale restaurant and bar that offers great bar foods including sandwiches, Caprese salad, fries, and Tapas-style dishes, along with a variety of refreshing cocktails.  Ristorante Pizzeria Verginiello is a popular restaurant in the nearby Capri town that offers many amazing dishes including Neapolitan pizza, ravioli,  spaghetti, local seafood dishes, and Caprese salads.  If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby restaurant, Salumeria Capri Rosticceria is a deli that offers many great light snacks including sandwiches, arancini, calzone, and pies.

Although Marina di Mulo Capri has lifeguards, it does not have any other public amenities except a few nearby public restrooms.  However, there are many private beach clubs nearby that offer many amenities for a fee including access to restrooms, sunloungers, beach umbrellas, and rental facilities for boats and watersports equipment.

Marina di Mulo offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, swimming, paddleboarding, surf-skiing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, boating, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching. 

This beach is ideal for beginner swimmers because the clear and warm water here usually has gentle waves.  In addition, snorkelers also visit this beach to explore its vibrant marine biodiversity. 

If you plan to swim, kayak, or paddleboard here, we recommend being careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents and dangerous waves.  You can also explore the interesting rock formations around this beach – one of these rock formations also has an archway.   If you like taking pictures with beautiful views, Marina di Mulo offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the southern Capri shoreline, the Tyrrhenian Sea, and a popular group of rock formations called the Faraglioni.  There is a beautiful church near the beach named Chiesa di Sant'Andrea, which was built in 1900 and it was designed by painter Riccardo Fainardi.  It is dedicated to the Christian saint Andrew, who is also a patron saint of fishermen.

Marina di Mulo does not offer wheelchair access to visitors with disabilities.

Getting to Marina di Mulo is easy – the access stairs to this beach are located along Via Mulo. However, parking near the beach can get difficult because there are very few street parking spaces nearby.  If you are planning to drive here, please note that non-local cars are prohibited here between Easter and mid-November. 

As an alternate access option, you can easily walk to this beach from a nearby town square named Piazzetta di Capri – it takes around half-an-hour to walk to this beach from Piazzetta di Capri.  In addition, you also pass through an iconic and winding road named Via Krupp while walking to the beach.  If you want to travel by bus, you can also take a bus to Marina di Mulo from Piazzetta di Capri – the bus will drop you off near the beach and its ticket costs around € 2.5.  This bus operates between 6:30 am to 9:20 pm.  

We recommend visiting these beaches early because they can get crowded quickly, especially between May and October.  In addition, please note that this beach has very low sunlight after 4 pm.

There is a rock formation near this beach named Scoglio Delle Sirene, which means “Siren’s Rock” – this rock is the place where the mythical Greek hero Odysseus was supposedly seduced by female mythological creatures called Sirens.

There are many attractions near Marina di Mulo.  Belvedere Cannone – also called Belvedere di Punta Cannone – is a popular observation area that offers spectacular views of the Capri shoreline and the Tyrrhenian Sea.  In addition, the area near this viewpoint was also called "Piazzetta Degli Artisti" or “the Artists’ Square” because it was frequented by many German artists – there was also a cannon emplacement here in the early 19th century.  Piazzetta di Capri – also called Piazza Umberto 1 – is a small piazza that has a lively and festive ambience and it also offers many interesting shopping stores, bars, and restaurants – in addition, there are also many interesting landmarks around the piazza including an old clock tower and the church of Santo Stefano.  Giardini di Augusto – also called The Gardens of Augustus – is a botanical garden that was commissioned by German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the early 20th century.  This garden has beautiful terraces and it also has many beautiful types of flowers and plants including dahlias, brooms, and geraniums – it also has a statue of Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin.  Certosa di San Giacomo is a beautiful Carthusian monastery that was built in 1371 and its architecture has influences from the Late Renaissance era – it currently houses the Archaeological Museum of Capri and a museum dedicated to the works of the artist Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach.  In addition, it also hosts many fun cultural events.  If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, Museo Ignazio Cerio is a museum that was founded in 1949 by Italian engineer, historian, and writer Edwin Cerio.  This museum offers interesting exhibitions on a variety of subjects including paleontology, geology, and local natural and cultural history – it also has a library containing books and documents created or collected by the Cerio family.
