If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni.  The Restaurant at Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni is adjacent to the beach – the Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni menu offers a variety of delicious traditional Caprese and gourmet seafood dishes including lobster linguine, Caprese salads, seafood salads, seafood risotto, and grilled seafood.  Another great upscale restaurant and beach club is the Fontelina Capri that offers a variety of delicious gourmet dishes including spaghetti and clams, fish carpaccio, fried paranza, gnocchi, and chicken cutlet - you can also enjoy many refreshing cocktails, especially its signature sangria.  Another great upscale restaurant is the MICHELIN-starred Le Monzu that offers excellent Mediterranean-inspired dishes for lunch and dinner including octopus ragu, anchovy and eggplant tarts, and its “pasta mista” that is a combination of differently-shaped pastas.  Ristorante Villa Margherita offers excellent water views and has beautiful gardens and it is known for serving excellent dishes including pasta, steak, seafood, veal chop, and salads.  Restaurant Le Grottelle is a waterfront restaurant that is set within natural local caves and has a rustic ambience – it also offers a variety of excellent dishes including pizza, seafood pasta, fried seafood, and local desserts.  If you are looking for another good and affordable restaurant near the beach, Capri Pasta is a delicatessen that is known for serving a variety of amazing pasta, along with many other dishes including ravioli, savory pies, pizza, and focaccia.

If you are looking for a hotel near the beach, there are many great options nearby.  The 5-Star hotel La Scalinatella offers many amenities including multiple pools, a terrace, a gym, and multiple restaurants and bars.  The 5-Star Hotel Punta Tragara is another upscale hotel that offers many amenities including a spa, multiple pools, a gym, a restaurant, and a bar.  Another great hotel is the 4-Star Hotel La Vega that offers many amenities including a pool, a restaurant, a bar, and outdoor sitting areas.  Another great hotel is the Villa Calypso that offers complimentary breakfast and is located conveniently close to many of Capri’s major landmarks.  A more affordable hotel is the Villa Mariuccia Capri that offers outdoor sitting areas and gardens – it also offers amazing views of the Capri shoreline.  If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby hotel, the Residencia Casa Vuotto has a patio and is conveniently located close to major landmarks in southeast Capri.

Although Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Capri Beach does not have lifeguards or any other public amenities, there is a private beach club – called “stabilimento balneare” in Italian – on Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach that offers many amenities for a fee including loaner facilities for beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sun loungers and access to restrooms.

Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding, boating, jet-skiing, surf-skiing, water-skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching.

This beach is ideal for less-experienced swimmers because the water here usually has gentle waves.  However, if you plan to swim, kayak, or paddleboard here, we recommend being careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents.  In addition, the rocky shoreline of the nearby islets here can also cause serious injuries.

Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach does not offer wheelchair access to visitors with disabilities.

Getting to Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach can be slightly difficult – from the town center of Capri, you need to drive or walk along a road named Via Tragara.  This road will lead you to an observation area named Belvedere Tragara.  From Belvedere Tragara, you need to walk along a rugged and slightly steep walking path that will lead you to a flight of stairs.  This staircase will lead you to Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach.

f you are planning to drive here, please note that non-local vehicles are not permitted here between Easter and mid-November.  As an alternate access option, you can also get a private boat to this beach – there is a nearby seafront restaurant named Canzone del Mare that offers a private ferry to Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach.  Canzone del Mare is located along a nearby beach named Marina Piccola – you can visit the restaurant’s website for more information on the boat to this beach.

Please note that the main entrance for Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach is managed by a beach club/restaurant named Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni and the entrance to this beach is mostly reserved for guests of the restaurant.

If you like taking pictures with excellent views, Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni Beach offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Capri shoreline, especially at sunset – one of the most popular photography sites here are the rock formations of Faraglioni.

There are many attractions near Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni.  Arco Naturale – also called the Natural Arch – is a beautiful 20-meters-tall natural archway that was once a natural sea cave.  This natural sea cave was transformed into a rocky archway through erosion by rainwater and ocean currents and it is currently a popular photography site – the path to this arch also offers a fun hiking experience and you can also explore an interesting cave nearby called Grotta di Matermania.  Casa Malaparte is a beautiful house that was designed in the 1930s by architect Adalberto Libera for writer and diplomat Curzio Malaparte – while this house is private property and public entry here is prohibited, it is renowned for its mix of classical and modernist architectural influences.  You can see this beautiful house from a nearby clifftop area – as an interesting fact, this house was also featured in Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 film Le Mepris.

Villa Jovis was the formerly opulent vacation palace of the Roman Emperor Tiberius, which is now in a dilapidated state – you can explore the palace’s remains and gain an insight into how the Roman Emperor and his guests and servants lived.  There is a viewpoint here named Salto di Tibero, which was formerly used as an execution site – in addition, there is also a church here named Church of Santa Maria del Soccorso.  Belvedere di Tragara is a cliff top viewpoint that offers beautiful Instagram-worthy views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the nearby rock formation of Faraglioni, and the Southeastern Capri shoreline.  In addition, there is an unnamed small rocky beach below the clifftop area here.  If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, Giardini di Augusto – also called The Gardens of Augustus – is a botanical garden that was commissioned by German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the early 20th century.  This garden has beautiful terraces and it also has many beautiful types of flowers and plants including dahlias, brooms, and geraniums – it also has a statue of Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin.
