Overview
Located in the coastal village of Vourvourou on the eastern coast of the Sithonia peninsula in Greece, Fava Beach is a long beige sand beach with many rocky portions. The beach is positioned on the shores of the Singitic Gulf and has a beautiful backdrop of many interesting rocky formations and forested mountains, which together provide incredible views of Mount Athos and the Aegean Sea.

The Shipwreck in Kalamitsi is positioned near Kalamitsi Beach on the Sithonia Peninsula, where divers can explore the remnants of a local ship commonly referred to as “the Turkish wreck." The ship was cut into two pieces and separated underwater by a pointed mass of rocks, which reached a depth of half a meter below the surface. Koukos Canyon Trail is a dog-friendly, two-mile-long, moderately challenging hiking trail that meanders through a steep and rocky Koukos Hill where hikers can explore the remains of prehistoric city walls that surround a settlement and that offer incredible views of village Sykia. The Historical and Folklore Museum of Sarti has a gallery that displays interesting exhibits on the history and culture of the village of Sarti through historic artifacts, photographs, and related memorabilia. If you are looking for another nearby attraction, Sarti is a small coastal village on the eastern coast of Sithonia with a 3-kilometer-long shoreline where visitors can enjoy many fun activities, including swimming, fishing, snorkeling, hiking, and providing incredible views of the Aegean Sea and Mount Athos.
