Located on the southeastern coast of the Sithonia peninsula in Greece, Kalamitsi Beach is a long and wide crescent-shaped beige sand beach with many rocky portions. The beach is divided into three main sections - the middle section of the beach is 450 meters long and is considered the busiest part of the beach. The western end of the beach is much smaller and provides a quieter beach experience, while the eastern end of the beach also features a few tavernas. The beach has an amazing backdrop of high cliffs and several oceanfront buildings, including cafes, hotels, apartments, and shops along the shores of the Aegean Sea, which together provide spectacular views of the Rhino rock and Mount Athos.
