If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near Love Beach. Nirvana Beach Bar is a restaurant and bar that serves many outstanding cocktails, along with a variety of excellent bar snacks. Aquafire Bar & Grill offers a variety of amazing locally-inspired dishes for lunch and dinner including barbecued ribs, chicken dishes, seafood, steaks, and burgers.  Traveller's Rest Restaurant & Bar offers many delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner including jerk chicken, seafood, chicken wings, Caribbean-style roti, and pasta. Studio Cafe is set in the building that formerly housed a famous music recording studio named The Compass Point Studios – this cafe offers outstanding dishes, including burgers, pizza, and Bahamian-style dishes, along with refreshing cocktails. If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby restaurant, Dino’s Gourmet Conch Salad serves amazing conch salads and it also offers refreshing beverages.

If you are looking for a hotel near Love Beach, there are many great nearby options. The 4-Star The Island House offers many amenities including a spa, a gym, a cinema theater, multiple restaurants and bars, a fitness center, an art gallery, and a pool. Another upscale hotel is the Albany Bahamas that offers many amenities including a spa, a fitness center, shopping stores, a movie theater, multiple pools, a beach club, watersports equipment rental facilities, a golf course, sports courts, and multiple restaurants and bars. A more affordable hotel is the 3-Star A Stone’s Throw Away that has Colonial-style architecture and offers many amenities including a garden, a pool with a waterfall, and a restaurant. The 3-Star Ocean West Boutique Hotel is another moderately-priced hotel that offers many amenities including a gym, a massage suite, a nearby restaurant, multiple bars, and a pool. If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby hotel, Orange Hill – also called Orange Hill Beach Inn – offers many amenities including a restaurant, a pool with a sundeck and lounge chairs, and a bar. Another great accommodation option near the beach is staying within a nearby vacation rental property – one of these vacation rental properties is the Love Beach Walk Nassau Bahamas.

Although Love Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, a nearby beach bar has a few amenities including restrooms, showers, and beach chair rental facilities – you can use these amenities for a small fee.

Love Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, volleyball, scuba diving, boating, jet-skiing, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, boogie boarding, bodysurfing, water-skiing, parasailing, wakeboarding, surf-skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife watching.  

This beach is popular with beginner swimmers because the clear water here usually has gentle waves. In addition, this beach is popular with snorkelers, who visit here to explore this beach’s vibrant biodiversity and marine landscape. The reefs here offer a fun Love Beach Nassau snorkeling experience. In addition, this beach also occasionally offers fun and slightly strong surfing waves. If you are planning to swim here, we recommend being careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents – in addition, the rocky shoreline around the beach can also make water activities difficult. 

This beach is ideal for visitors looking for a quieter beach experience because it sees fewer visitors as compared to other nearby beaches – one of the more popular beaches near Love Beach is Cable Beach. You can see many airplanes around Love Beach – these airplanes often take off from and land at the nearby Lynden Pindling International Airport. If you are looking for a place to rest after a fun day at the beach, you can rest in the shade offered by the palm trees near Love Beach Nassau Bahamas. If you like taking pictures with excellent views, this beach offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the New Providence shoreline and the Caribbean Sea, particularly during sunsets and mornings.

Love Beach does not offer wheelchair access to visitors with disabilities.

Getting to Love Beach is easy – this beach is located near West Bay Street, and there is a staircase along West Bay Street that leads to this beach. This staircase is located near a vacation rental complex named Palm Shores. 

As an alternate access option, you can visit another nearby bar named Nirvana Beach Bar that is also located along West Bay Street. There is an entrance at this bar that leads to Love Beach – you can walk through this entrance for a fee. In addition, there is also a paid parking lot at Nirvana Beach Bar.     

Love Beach was the inspiration behind the name of the music album Love Beach, which was released by the Progressive Rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer in 1978. The band consisted of musicians Greg Lake, Carl Palmer, and Keith Emerson – Emerson, Lake & Palmer Love Beach was their final studio album before their split. The album was produced by Atlantic Records and the recording was done in the nearby Compass Point Studios. One of Love Beach’s songs was “Memoirs of an Officer and a Gentleman.” – another famous album by this band was Works Volume 1, which was released in 1977.

There are many attractions near Love Beach within a 25-minute-drive. The Queen’s Staircase is a historical landmark that is a part of the Fort Fincastle Historic Complex – this staircase has 66 steps and was constructed out of limestone between 1793 and 1794. It was later named in honour of the iconic British monarch Queen Victoria. Pirates of Nassau is a museum that offers a unique insight into the Golden Age of Piracy, which was roughly between 1690 and 1720 – this museum exhibits the lives of pirates who operated here and it also has a replica of a pirate ship named “Revenge.”  Ardastra Gardens & Wildlife Conservation Centre is a wildlife conservation center that is home to more than 135 animals including Caribbean flamingos, parrots, boas, and servals – this center also has a petting zoo and gardens containing many plant species.  Aquaventure is a popular water park that offers a variety of fun rides including a famous slide resembling a Mayan temple, pools, lazy rivers, a large water-play fort, and a seven story-tall ride called the Power Tower. This water park also has exhibits that are home to more than 250 aquatic animal species including sharks, rays, and eels. If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is set in a mid-19th century mansion and it exhibits contemporary and historic Bahamian art.
