Flipper Beach

Located on the western end of New Providence Island in Nassau, Bahamas, Flipper Beach is a small yet beautiful beach that is perfect for those looking for a quieter and more secluded spot. The beach is approximately 200 meters long and has soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters.

Although there are no lifeguards on duty, the beach does have bathroom facilities and a few shaded areas for visitors to relax.

Flipper Beach is located near the Coral Harbour area, and there is free parking available for visitors. There are no designated parking lots, but visitors can park on the side of the road near the beach.

Fun fact: Flipper Beach is named after the famous dolphin, Flipper, who starred in the TV series of the same name. Some scenes from the show were filmed in the area.

Nearby attractions include the Clifton Heritage National Park, which offers hiking trails, birdwatching, and a historical look at the island's past. The park also has a beautiful lagoon with calm and shallow waters, perfect for swimming and kayaking.
