Lake Summit Private Boat Ramp & Beach

Located within the community of Zirconia in Henderson County, Lake Summit Private Boat Ramp & Beach is a very small beige sand beach.  The beach is positioned in a sheltered inlet along the Lake Summit, which is actually a reservoir to generate electricity and offers incredible views.

Lake Summit Private Boat Ramp & Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities except a boat launch, so plan your trip accordingly.

Lake Summit Private Boat Ramp & Beach offers many fun activities, including sunbathing, swimming, beachcombing, fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing.  If you are planning to go into the water, we recommend being careful, as the water is known to have rocky bottoms.   The water near the beach is shallow, making it ideal for kayaks, canoes, and small boats.  If you enjoy fishing, you may catch spotted bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow bullhead.  It is an ideal spot for visitors looking for a tranquil beach experience, as this beach sees fewer visitors than other nearby beaches.  Dogs are allowed if they are on a leash, and it is open from sunrise until sunset.

Getting to Lake Summit Private Boat Ramp & Beach is easy - the beach has a few street parking spots located at 39 Huggins Road, which is easily accessible via State Highway 225.
