Located in the town of Southampton, Coopers Beach - also known as Cooper’s Beach - is a large and popular beach with light brown sand and coastal vegetation on Long Island. Sand dunes are also present near this beach. Coopers Beach has been named the 49th Best Beach in the Top 50 Beaches in the United States list in 2022 by Randall Kaplan, the world's foremost beach expert who is known as "Mr. Beach.” Coopers Beach has a relaxed ambiance, along with a beautiful background of oceanfront residential homes.
Amenities
Coopers Beach has lifeguards on weekends between Memorial Day weekend and June 20th. From June 20th to Labor Day Lifeguards are stationed on the beach daily. Coopers Beach has many other amenities including (available on a seasonal basis - generally between Memorial Day and Labor Day), concession stands, restrooms, showers, and rental facilities for beach umbrellas and beach chairs.

It is important to note that you need to pay 50$ for a parking permit in order to park at the Coopers Beach parking lot. You can either purchase this permit near the Coopers Beach entrance. As an alternative way, you can also send a letter to Southampton Village Hall for purchasing the parking permits.
