Haithco Park, located in Saginaw Charter Township, Michigan, is a vibrant 76-acre public park featuring a 40-acre man-made lake known as Haithco Lake. The park offers a lifeguard-supervised beach, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, paddleboat rentals, and a variety of other recreational activities. It is named after William H. Haithco Sr., a founder of the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation Commission, and hosts events like the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Michigan. Visitors can enjoy a range of amenities, including five pavilions available for rent, a concession stand, and modern restrooms. The park is easily accessible from I-675 and offers a scenic setting for picnics and family gatherings.
