Located on the east side of Elk Lake, Wilcox-Palmer-Shah Preserve offers a beautiful and secluded beach experience. The beach is approximately 200 feet long and features fine, golden sand.

Unfortunately, there are no lifeguards on duty, and dogs are not allowed on the beach

Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, fishing, and picnicking

There is a small parking lot available at the preserve, which is free of charge. Note that the parking area is located approximately 1/4 mile from the beach, and visitors must hike a short trail to reach the shoreline.
