Seahorse Beach. Cove Point Park is a dog-friendly neighborhood
park spread over five acres and offers many amenities, including baseball
fields, a basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a sports field,
picnic areas, pavilions, a playground, a seasonal pool, restrooms, and walking
paths. Cove Point Lighthouse is a 51-meter-high
cylindrical-shaped lighthouse positioned on the western shore of Cove Point
that guides ships safely past Chesapeake Bay.
Calvert Marine Museum is a small maritime museum
positioned along the Patuxent River that showcases the maritime history of the
Chesapeake Bay region through exhibits, photographs, and related
memorabilia. In addition, it hosts

exhibits throughout the year. Jefferson Patterson
Park and Museum is spread over 560-acres,
overlooking the Patuxent River and offers many fun activities, including
hiking, walking, birdwatching, and picnicking.
In addition, the park is popular for its archaeological significance and
is home to the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab), which
serves as the primary archaeological research and curation facility for the
state of Maryland. If you are looking

Park covers an area of 1460 acres along the eastern side of the
Calvert Peninsula on the Chesapeake Bay and features towering cliffs composed
of sedimentary deposits. The state park
