Located in the small town of Waimanalo, Kaiona Beach Park has a small and narrow white sand beach adjacent to the Ko’olau Mountains on the southern end of Waimanalo Bay. Kaiona Beach Park is spread across 4 acres and is an awesome family-friendly spot because of its calm waters. Kaiona in Hawaiian means ‘attractive sea’ as the park was named after the fact that it has very clear waters great for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Kaiona Beach Park is home to an ancient Hawaiian fishpond called Pahonu Pond where you can find many turtles.
