Located to the north of the community of Haleiwa, Ke Iki Beach Park - also called Ke Iki Beach and Honolulu City Pupukea Park - is a large beach with light brown sand, some rocky portions, and many nearby palm trees and bushes in northern Oahu. This beach is situated near a hotel named Ke Iki Beach Bungalows. Ke Iki Beach Park has a reef near its western end.

If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near KeIki Beach Park. Beach House (also known as Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi) is an upscale restaurant that offers amazing Hawaiian-inspired dishes for lunch and dinner including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, seafood, steaks, lamb dishes, and barbecued ribs. Pupukea Grill serves a variety of delicious dishes infused with local Hawaiian and international culinary influences including poke, loco moco, sushi, tempura, burritos, quesadillas, wraps, salads, acai bowls, and vegan and vegetarian dishes. In addition, this restaurant has also been praised by the HAWAI’I MAGAZINE.  Aji Limo Truck is known for serving excellent Peruvian-Japanese cuisine, along with delicious salads, tacos, sandwiches, and seafood.  If you're looking for another good and affordable restaurant near Ke Iki Beach Park, Ted’s Bakery is another modestly priced bakery that offers amazing baked desserts. In addition, the restaurant also serves amazing dishes for lunch and breakfast including burgers, sandwiches, seafood, chicken, and barbecued rib platters. This restaurant has also been repeatedly awarded first place in Honolulu Star-Advertiser Newspaper’s annual Hawaii’s Best awards. Another modestly priced option is North Shore Tacos - Food Truck which offers delicious Mexican dishes including tacos, nachos, and quesadillas. Another modestly priced restaurant is North Shore Shrimp Truck which is known for serving a variety of excellent shrimp platters and it also serves Mexican dishes, desserts, and hot dogs.

If you are looking for a hotel near Ke Iki Beach Park, there are many great nearby options. The 4-Star Turtle Bay Resort offers many amenities including a spa, two pools (including one with a waterslide), two golf courses, seven restaurants and bars, and two hot tubs. The hotel also offers many other amenities for a resort fee including access to a fitness center, multiple tennis courts, and snorkeling gear loaner facility. A more affordable hotel is the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows which offers accommodation in beautiful oceanfront cottages. This hotel offers many amenities including grills, hammocks, picnic areas, showers, a meditation area, gardens, and a nearby biking path. A more affordable hotel is the 3-Star Courtyard by Marriott Oahu North Shore which offers many amenities including an exercise room, a hot tub, a pool, and a bistro. If you are looking for another good and affordable accommodation option near Ke Iki Beach Park, Camp Mokule’ia is an episcopal camp and retreat center which offers accommodation in campsites, cabins, and lodges and it also has many amenities including a pool, a chapel, and campfire sites. The campground also has a zipline and a ropes course and it also organizes many fun programs and activities including kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and art & crafts sessions. As another accommodation option, Malaekahana Beach Campground offers accommodation to tent and RV campers and it also offers accommodation in brightly colored cabins. The campground offers many amenities including a camp store, watersports equipment rental facilities, picnic tables, fire pits, and water spouts.

Ke Iki Beach Park does not have lifeguards or any other amenities, so please plan accordingly. Dogs are allowed at Ke Iki Beach Park.

KeIki Beach Park offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, fishing, picnicking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, tidepooling, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, surf-skiing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, boating, and wakeboarding. The water near KeIki Beach Park usually has manageable waves during summer, making it ideal for beginner swimmers and snorkelers. Depending on the time of the year, you can see many kinds of animals in the water near KeIki Beach Park including sea turtles, migrating whales between May and December, and Hawaiian monk seals. It is important to note that sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals are protected under a law named the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and harming them can result in a fine of up to $50,000, and possible imprisonment. If you are planning to swim near Ke Iki Beach Park, please note that the water here can occasionally become extremely turbulent and have strong currents and dangerous waves - the water here is known to be particularly dangerous during winters. We recommend paying attention to signs prohibiting swimming which are occasionally posted here during turbulent water conditions. However, when the water here is rough, you can wade in the shallow pools around the beach which are formed by advancing and receding tides.

If you like taking pictures and beautiful views, KeIki Beach Park offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the Pacific Ocean and the northern Oahu shoreline, particularly during sunsets. Ke Iki Beach Park is occasionally ideal for visitors looking for a quieter beach experience because it sees fewer visitors than other North Oahu beaches during weekdays. If you like beachcombing, you can comb Ke Iki Beach Park for exquisite pieces of sea glass. If you are planning to fish near Ke Iki Beach Park, please ensure compliance with the local fishing regulations found on the Division of Aquatic Resources (which is a part of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources). If you like history, you can explore interesting petroglyphs which are carved on the rocks around Ke Iki Beach Park (petroglyphs are signs, symbols, and pictures that are carved on rocks.) The best time to explore petroglyphs is after a large wave during winters because there is no excess sand on the beach

Getting to Ke Iki Beach Park can be slightly difficult because the access path to the beach can be a bit difficult to locate - from Hawaii Route 83 - which is a part of Kamehameha Highway - you need to turn towards another narrow road named Ke Iki Road. You can park at the free street parking spaces along Ke Iki Road. Once you park here, you can easily walk to the access path for Ke Iki Beach Park, which is also located along Ke Iki Road. There is a yellow sign labeled “Emergency Response Location #276C” and a blue sign labeled “Public Right Of Way To Beach” near the access path for Ke Iki Beach Park. We recommend visiting this beach early, particularly during weekends because the parking spaces here can fill up really fast during this time.

There are many attractions near Ke Iki Beach Park.  Waimea Valley is a historical nature park that was earlier the site of one of the most prosperous Hawaiian agricultural communities. Waimea Valley has many historical sites dating back to the Ancient Hawaiian era including stone terraces, a heiau (a Hawaiian temple), and hale iwi (a traditional burial site) - the valley also has a vibrant botanical collection consisting of around 5,000 taxa of plants including plants from Polynesia, Madagascar, Seychelles, and the Ogasawara Islands. Waimea Valley also has a 45-feet tall waterfall named Waimea Falls and it also frequently hosts interesting cultural programs.  Pūpūkea Forest Reserve is a 782-acre reserve that offers a two-and-a-half-mile hiking trail named the Kaunala Trail which is open to mountain bikers and hikers on weekends and holidays. While this trail offers a strenuous hiking experience, it also offers a unique insight into the local biodiversity and the coastal landscape of northern Oahu.  If you are looking for another attraction near Ke Iki Beach Park, Banzai Rock Skatepark (also called Banzai Rock Skate Park) offers a fun skateboarding and roller skating session.
