Overview

Located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula in the city of Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan Public Beach - also known as Fort Morgan Fishing Beach - is a six-mile-long and wide white sand beach with many rocky portions.  The beach is situated on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, which provides an Instagram-worthy view of the Atlantic Ocean.  Fort Morgan Public Beach is part of Gulf State Park, which ensures the preservation of its unique ecosystem.  The beach also serves as a nesting beach for sea turtles, which are protected under the United States Endangered Species Act of 1973.
