Stretching only 0.16 miles, Carreg Wen is small enough for visitors to have their own private beach for the day. It is several miles from a major city, and it is worth noting that the beach itself does not have any nearby shops or restaurants - guests will need to travel to Porthmadog for these amenities. Nonetheless, Carreg Wen does have a lifeguard on duty and dogs are allowed at the beach.
