Perfect for fishing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, Pwllheli's Abererch Sands Beach is the more secluded part of Pwllheli Beach. The beach is normally quieter than Pwllheli, which lies to the west, and it has softer sand which visitors will immediately notice when they kick off their shoes. Since it is more remote than its neighbor, Abererch Sands does not have a lifeguard on duty, nor does it have many facilities nearby. An RV park sits along its coast, but for someone looking for restaurants and bars, you will have to drive over to Pwllheli.
