Sunrise Beach(Koh Lipe)

Sunrise Beach, locally known as Hat Chao Ley, is a vibrant beach located along the western side of Koh Lipe in Thailand. The beach boasts some of the best sunrises in the world, so we encourage even the groggiest of beachgoers to make it out for the early-morning views. With two kilometers of white sandy beach and stunning, blue-green waters, Sunrise Beach is everything you're looking for.

The crystal-clear waters are home to a vast collection of exotic marine life underneath its surface, making for spectacular snorkeling. There are plenty of fish close to shore, and if you're a strong swimmer, you can reach nearby, mini islands with even more marine life. You can also rent kayaks to explore the waters and islands of Sunrise Beach, as rentals are cheap and the views are priceless. Sunrise Beach is also a big diving destination, with beachfront resorts dedicated to the sport. Sunrise Beach is less touristy than other beaches in the area, giving you a bit more serenity. If you visit in the low season, from May to October, the beach is almost all yours, but even in high season, you won't feel overcrowded.
