Playa de los Guios(Los Guios Beach)

Located in the town of Santiago del Teide on the western part of the island of Tenerife, Playa de los Guios is a small, narrow, and black sand beach that is situated on the north side of the mouth of a river named Barranco de Santiago. Also known as Los Guios Beach, Playa de los Guios is a popular tourist spot because it is adjacent to a marina called Puerto Deportivo Los Gigantes. Playa de los Guios is backed by palm trees and runs along a promenade that has many restaurants, nightclubs, and stores.

Playa de los Guios offers many amenities including lifeguards, showers, water sport equipment rentals, and tennis courts.

Getting to Playa de los Guios is very easy – there is a paid parking lot that has 50 parking spots and is located at C. Pob. Marinero, S/n, 38683 Acantilados de Los Gigantes, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. After parking, you will need to walk two minutes west to get to the access stairway.

Playa de los Guios is also called Black Sand Beach as its sand is composed of tiny black volcanic particles.
