Located in the town of Arona, Playa de Troya is a long, wide, and beige-colored sand beach that is one of the five main beaches that are part of a holiday resort town named Playa de las Americas. Playa de las Americas is situated in Tenerife which is the largest of the seven Canary Islands of Spain. Playa de las Americas is the center of nightlife in Tenerife and features many bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and beaches. Also known as Playa de Troya Beach, Playa de Troya is protected by breakwaters on both ends making it a great spot for swimming. Playa de Troya Beach is backed by palm trees and runs along a promenade that has many restaurants, nightclubs, and stores.
