Navodari Beach has lifeguards on a seasonal basis and usually during summers.  In addition to lifeguards, the beach and the area around it have many other amenities including a nearby walkway, restrooms, showers (available for a fee), benches, volleyball courts, and rental facilities for sunlounges and beach umbrellas.

Navodari Beach is ideal for beginner swimmers, kayakers, canoers, surf-skiers, snorkelers, and paddleboarders because the water here has gentle lapping waves and is considerably shallow and clear.  If you like kitesurfing, the best time to kiteboard near Navodari Beach is during late spring and autumn.  If you are planning to swim, kayak, scuba dive, or canoe near Navodari Beach, we recommend being careful because the water here is known to have unpredictable rip currents. 

Navodari Beach is an ideal site for beachcombing because it has many shells.

Getting to Navodari Beach is easy – this beach is located along a road named Bulevardul Mamaia and it is easily accessible from European route E87.  There are free street parking spaces and a few small free parking lots near the beach.

We recommend visiting Navodari Beach early during the summer season – particularly between July and early September – because the beach can get extremely crowded quickly during this time.

If you want to travel by bus, there is a bus service to Navodari from the nearby city of Constanta and you can easily walk to Navodari Beach from the bus stop.

Navodari Beach offers amazing Instagram-worthy views of the Black Sea and the southern Romanian shoreline, particularly during evenings.

There are many attractions near Navodari Beach.  Central Park Navodari – also known as Parcul Central Navodari – is a recreational park that offers many amenities including benches, gardens, grassy recreational areas, playgrounds, and statues.  The Holiday Village is a popular attraction that is a 20-minute drive away and offers many fun shopping stores, restaurants, gardens, and galleries.  In addition, the Holiday Village also has an amusement park named Luna Park that has many fun rides including ferris wheels, bumper boats, roller coasters, carousels, and aquatic play areas.  Lacul Siutghiol is a lake that offers many fun activities including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, jet-skiing, fishing, paddleboarding, and surf-skiing.  As an interesting fact, this lake has an island that was home to the famous Ancient Roman poet Ovid, who lived here in exile after being banished.  If you are looking for another attraction near Navodari Beach, Aqua Magic Mamaia is a recreational water park that is also a 20-minute drive away and has many fun rides and water play areas.  This park also has a jacuzzi and a massage area – this park also offers many fun activities for kids including puppet shows and interesting animated shows.
