Tequila Cove Beach(Playa Bledito; Playa Cabo Real)

Located on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in the town of Casa Fortuna in the municipality of Los Cabos, Tequila Cove Beach - also known as Playa Bledito - is a long and wide beige sand beach with many rocky portions.  The beach is adjacent to the famous Playa Cabo Real and is positioned on the tourist corridor along the coastline of the Sea of Cortez (also known as the Gulf of California).  It has a beautiful backdrop of rugged desert landscapes, coastal vegetation, luxurious hotels, beachfront restaurants, condominiums, and opulent resorts, which together offer incredible views of the vast Pacific Ocean.

Tequila Cove Beach is a family-friendly beach that offers many fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, sea kayaking, paddleboarding, jet-skiing, snorkeling, diving, building sandcastles, strolling, horseback riding, and rockpooling.  If you plan to go into the water, there is an artificial breakwater that provides a safe area to swim.  However, we recommend being cautious, as the water is known to have unpredictable rip currents.  Snorkelers and divers may spot an array of marine life, making it a fascinating spot for nature enthusiasts.  If you enjoy surfing, it is a perfect spot for windsurfing due to its frequently windy weather and great waves.  

Visitors can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear from vendors to explore the waters around Tequila Cove Beach Cabo.  If you enjoy fishing, you may catch a variety of fish, including marlin, dorado, and tuna.  Depending on the time of year, visitors may spot sea turtles, humpback whales, and gray whales in the water near the beach.  Hikers can enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer unique insights into the local biodiversity.  In addition, you may spot local vendors who often set up shop along the beach, selling handmade crafts and souvenirs.  It is perfect for visitors seeking a serene beach experience in the Casa Fortuna Cabo region.   Dogs are not allowed here, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

Getting to Tequila Cove Beach is easy - the beach has a small parking lot located near Km 19.5, Carretera Transpeninsular Km 19.5, Fracc. Cabo Real, 23400 San Jose del Cabo near Las Residencias Golf & Beach Club, which provides easy access to the beach.  

The beach got its name from the iconic Mexican beverage, tequila, that the spirited beachgoers enjoy on this vibrant beach.

There are many attractions near Tequila Cove Beach.  Arch of Cabo San Lucas is a distinctive, rugged granite rock formation located at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, marking the meeting point of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.  Visitors can take boat tours or private charters from Cabo San Lucas Marina to get up close to the arch.  Interestingly, it is one of the most popular and recognizable landmarks in Cabo San Lucas and is often featured in postcards and advertisements promoting tourism in the region.   Plaza Mijares is a historic square located in the heart of the city, surrounded by colonial-style buildings, shops, art galleries, restaurants, an open-air amphitheater, and an artisan market.  It hosts various cultural events, festivals, and performances, including live music, dance, art exhibitions, and traditional celebrations, throughout the year.  The San Jose Church, or Mission of San Jose del Cabo Anuiti, is one of the oldest churches in the Baja California Peninsula and showcases traditional Spanish colonial architecture, featuring whitewashed walls, a bell tower, and arched doorways.  It is recognized as a cultural heritage site by the Mexican government due to its historical and architectural significance.
