The sands of Taghazout beach are golden and soft, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing after surfing or swimming. If seclusion is a priority for you, plan to go in the offseason. The town of Taghazout has plenty of small cafes and restaurants and lots of yoga classes for when you're ready to unwind and refuel after a long day of playing in the waves. To get there, take a thirty-minute taxi ride from Agadir airport, which has great connections with Marrakech, a famed tourist destination as well.

Located in the province of Sidi Ifni, Mirleft Beach is a peaceful and quiet place to hang out with your family. Mirleft Beach’s interestingly unique rock formation and rock pools along with a great stretch of sand offers a refreshing and memorable experience to its guests. Basic amenities include food vendors, cafes, and free parking – and there are also a few surf and swimming schools on the beach. After spending some time at Mirleft Beach, we recommend taking a long walk along the windswept coastline where an old French fort built during the French occupation overlooks the town.

If you get hungry, there are several options on the beach. You can stop at Café AFTAS, known for its authentic Moroccan tajine with German and Mediterranean cuisine. You can also head to ZanZan Coffee, where you can grab healthy juices, camel steak, or seafood such as fish and octopus. If your love for coffee is endless then you can grab a cup at Tifawin Café, a 15-minute drive from Mirleft Beach.

If you are planning to stay overnight, then head to Cafe Des Pecheurs for accommodations with a kitchenette.
