Located to the south of the Klamath River, High Bluff Beach is a narrow rock-and-sand beach. This beach is situated below steep and rocky oceanfront bluffs and is a part of a national park known as Redwood National Park.
Located near the mouth of the Klamath River, Klamath Beach is a large beach with pebbles and gray sand. The beach is a sand-spit that separates the Klamath River and the Pacific Ocean. The Klamath River occasionally flows into the Pacific Ocean through this beach. Klamath Beach also has a fantastic background of the mountainous Del Norte County landscape.
Located between Klamath and Crescent City, Lagoon Creek Beach is a small northwest-facing beach with dark gray sand. This beach is situated in the southern part of False Klamath Cove and is a part of a national park known as Redwood National Park. A pond known as the Lagoon Pond is present behind this beach.
Located in the northern end of Humboldt County, Carruthers Cove Beach is a beautiful beach with gray sand, interesting rock formations, and sparse vegetation. This beach is situated below oceanfront bluffs and is a part of a state park called Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. It is important to note that despite its name, Carruthers Cove Beach is not present within a cove. This beach is surrounded by dense forests. The Johnson Creek flows through the beach into the Pacific Ocean.
