Carlsbad City Beach is situated along Ocean Street and offers many fun activities including swimming, surfing, biking, paddleboarding, and beach walking. Please note that surfing is not allowed here between May and October – surfers can walk 10 minutes south to Tamarack Surf Beach during these months. If you are looking for additional activities, you can walk 10 minutes north to Buena Vista Lagoon, a popular birdwatching destination.
