The water is clear and sunshine is enjoyable. Best in midsummer, it is the best place for kite surfing and wind surfing. The water is shallow, so it is good for children.
Lammassaari Island is suitable for the whole family. But if you like a bit longer hike there are more natural surroundings. There are barbecue places with an open fire along the route. So it is a good idea to take your own sausages and other foods with you. There are also dwelling sites from the Stone Age about 3500-4000 BC (5500-6000 years ago) on the island, which makes it even more special.
The island is accessed by a short ferry ride. Upon arrival there's then an excellent tourist information place and plenty of maps/guides available. There is a tourist office right by the ferry on the fortress. You can get a map of the fortress there. There are many old fashion buildings.
