A 5 minute walk from the Sakaiura Kaigan bus stop, Sakaiura Beach offers lovely white sand to relax upon as well as a reef for snorkelers to explore. A specialty of the Sakaiura Beach is the Hinko-maru, a Japanese warship that was torpedoed and sunk during the Second World War. Snorkelers can also explore this submerged wreck within the shallow waters near the shore. Sakaiura Beach offers picnic tables and restrooms for visitors as well!
