The Ushimado Beach is the second oldest resort in the Okayama prefecture, situated on the Seto Inland Sea overlooking Maejima. The sandy beach is small, but it is close to many resort hotels and inns. Local families and tourists come to the beach during summer months. From the north side of the beach, one can enter into Ushimodori Shrine.
