Playa Ventanas(Ventanas Beach)

Playa Ventanas is a secluded beach located in Cabo Velas, Costa Rica. The beach is about 300 meters long and has a beautiful white sandy shoreline.

Playa Ventanas has few amenities, so plan your trip accordingly, although it does have restrooms and a small parking area.

Visitors can enjoy various activities such as swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and kayaking.

There is a small parking lot available for visitors, which is free of charge. However, the parking area is limited, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.

Fun fact: Playa Ventanas got its name from the caves that are located at the southern end of the beach. These caves are famous for their unique "windows" that have been carved out by the waves over time.

There are no tourist attractions or hiking trails on the beach itself, but the nearby towns of Tamarindo and Flamingo offer a variety of activities such as surfing lessons, horseback riding, and zip-lining. The Catalina Islands, which are known for their excellent scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities, are also located nearby.
