Overview
Located in the southern part of the island of Rarotonga, Titikaveka Beach is a popular, family-friendly, and beautiful beach with white sand, some large rocks, and rocky reefs in the Cook Islands. Titikaveka Beach Rarotonga is located within Rarotonga’s district of Takitumu.
Lonely Planet listed this beach as one of the six best beaches in Rarotonga in 2022. In addition, TripAdvisor also listed this beach as one of the best beaches of the South Pacific region as part of its annual Travelers’ Choice awards in 2015, and it is also a favorite of Randall Kaplan, the world’s foremost beach expert who is known as Mr. Beach.

If you are planning to swim, snorkel, or paddleboard here, we recommend being careful because the turquoise waters here can have unpredictable rip currents. In addition, the rugged coral around this beach can also make water activities difficult.
