Maina Beach(Maina, Maina Island)

Maina Beach is located on the northwestern coast of Aitutaki, Cook Islands. The beach stretches for about 400 meters and boasts pristine white sand and crystal clear waters, making it an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.

Maina Beach offers a range of amenities, including restroom access and shaded picnic areas, as well as lifeguards on duty during peak seasons. Please note that dogs are not allowed on this beach.

There is a small parking area available near Maina Beach, but it can fill up quickly during peak times. Parking is free of charge.

Fun fact: Maina Beach is also known as "One Foot Island," named for the small, uninhabited island located just off the coast that can be reached by foot during low tide.

Aside from lounging on the beach, visitors to Maina Beach can also take a short boat ride to explore the nearby One Foot Island, which features stunning turquoise waters and a post office where you can have your passport stamped with a unique One Foot Island stamp.
