Wasaga Beach

There are plenty of amenities at Wasaga Beach, including public washrooms, showers, changing facilities, picnic tables, and shade structures. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months, and dogs are allowed in designated areas.

There are multiple parking lots at Wasaga Beach, including one on Beach Drive, which is free to park in. There are also several paid parking lots available for visitors who would like to park closer to the beach.

Fun fact: Wasaga Beach was a popular spot for Prohibition-era rum-running during the 1920s.

In addition to the beach itself, Wasaga Beach offers a range of attractions, including beach volleyball tournaments, jet ski rentals, and an 18-hole miniature golf course. Visitors can also take a stroll along the nearby Nancy Island Historic Site, which commemorates the War of 1812.
