Located on the western coast of Cape Range National Park in the town of Exmouth, Five Mile Beach is a one-kilometer-long and wide beige sand beach. The beach is tucked between Jims Beach and Jurabi Turtle Centre and has a beautiful backdrop of low rocky outcrops and bushlands, which together provide incredible views of the vast Indian Ocean. It is worth noting that during the turtle nesting season, this beach also serves as a rookery for the turtles. Five Mile Beach is part of the Lighthouse Sanctuary Zone of Ningaloo Marine Park, which is considered one of the world's largest fringing coral reefs.
