Sirius Cove Beach

Visitors can engage in a variety of activities while at Sirius Cove Beach, such as swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and fishing. This beach is also ideal for families with young children as it has calm waters for paddling and a playground area. There are also public restrooms and picnic areas available for visitors. However, there are no lifeguards on duty, so please exercise caution while swimming.

Parking at Sirius Cove Beach can be difficult as there is limited street parking available, but there is a parking lot nearby that requires a fee for use. Alternatively, visitors can take a ferry from Circular Quay to Mosman Bay and walk about 20 minutes to the beach.

Fun fact: The beach was named after the flagship of the First Fleet, the HMS Sirius, which was commanded by Captain John Hunter.
