Mahon Pool

Mahon Pool is a unique ocean pool located in Maroubra, Australia. The pool is located on a rocky platform and is filled with saltwater that comes directly from the ocean. The beach length is relatively small, but there is plenty of space to lay out a towel and soak up the sun. The sand color is a light beige color.

Mahon Pool has few amenities, so plan your trip accordingly, although it does have a restroom and shower facilities available.

Fun fact: Mahon Pool was named after a local resident who donated the land to the council in the early 1900s.
