Activities
Fishermans Beach is a family-friendly beach that offers many fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, paddleboarding, building castles, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkeling, diving, and hiking. If you are planning to go into the water, we recommend being careful, as the water is murky due to the presence of seaweed and is also known to have unpredictable rip currents. The beach is a perfect spot for windsurfing due to its frequently windy weather and great waves from north-easterly and southeasterly winds. If you enjoy fishing, you may catch a variety of fish. It is worth noting that the beach is part of a Long Reef Aquatic Reserve, so we recommend you abide by local fishing regulations. If you enjoy snorkeling, you may spot an array of marine life, making it a fascinating spot for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can head towards the southern end of the beach, where they can explore many rock formations and spot sea shells, fish bones, and other marine life preserved in the rocks. It is an ideal spot for visitors looking for a tranquil beach experience, as this beach sees fewer visitors than other nearby beaches. Dogs are allowed if they are on a leash, and it is open from sunrise until sunset.
